 The Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 1st Annual Fishing Tournament June 28th & 29th, 2013 at IT Parker Community Center, benefiting Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation, American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Dania Beach, and Prestige Club. The Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce serves to represent the Dania Beach business community; promote new and existing enterprises; and to identify the greater community’s features which enhance the quality of its residential and commercial life. However, without fund raising efforts such as our annual fishing tournament, we would not be able to accomplish these goals. Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce’s 1st Annual Fishing Tournament is an annual event featuring a Captains Kickoff, Fishing Tournament and Awards Dinner. This year a portion of all funds raised will benefit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation; to provide philanthropic support to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and ensure the ongoing availability of safe, quality, cost-effective, patient- and family-centered care, regardless of one’s ability to pay. Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is the only children’s hospital that performs cardiac catheterization, open heart surgery, pediatric heart transplantation and pediatric dialysis in Broward County , American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Dania Beach; a team event that celebrates cancer survivors, and raises funds for the American Cancer Society research, education, prevention, advocacy and patient services, and Prestige Club; Prestige is an organization that offers love, compassion, support, and assistance to families and children in need. At the present time, Prestige sponsors over twenty-one different non-profit organizations in Broward County that assists towards the growth and development of our society.
